This web site www.electionmatters.com presently provides Cuyahoga, Summit, Portage, Medina, Wayne, and Delaware County voters with free nonpartisan information on candidates running in contested races in November’s general election.

The domain creator, Sylvia Lutke, is a Stongsville resident.  She has a B.S. degree from Kent State University and was a school teacher for 17 years.  She started disseminating information about Republican and Democratic candidates in 2000.  Her site is linked to www.IVoters.com , the Ohio Roundtable web site.   The Ohio Roundtable is a conservative lobbyist group headed by Mr. David Zanotti.   His site has information available for interested voters on a state level in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Tennessee.

Information on Sylvia’s site is acquired by sending every Republican and Democratic candidate in contested races a letter requesting information on the candidate’s political party, age, education, experience, endorsements, and web site.  WWW.electionmatters.com is contructed on the basis of that information.
